The central question in Kervan is: “What is home, and how does someone experience the feeling of being at home?”
It’s a question that speaks to a feeling that is, in essence, important to everyone.

House of All is a pavilion where three faiths come together. It combines Islamic, Jewish, and Christian visual elements to create a sacred and inclusive space that fosters unity in times of growing polarization.

Binnen het kader van food-design recontextualiseert Studio Batman, de twee meest bekende delicatessen uit beide culturen, de tompouce en de baklava, tot een synthese waarin beide culturen op gelijkwaardige wijze worden gerepresenteerd en samengebracht.

Emin Batman is een interdisciplinaire kunstenaar, architect en oprichter van Studio Batman. Zijn diverse werken omvatten fotografie, film, scenografie en architectuur en behandelt thema’s als identiteit, migratie, interculturaliteit en spiritualiteit.
Batmans passie ligt in het verbinden van mensen uit verschillende culturen en het vieren van overeenkomsten, door middel van zijn artistieke creaties.
Memento Diem (2023), een video-installatie over de aardbeving in Turkije, en de House of All (2023), een architectonisch concept geïnspireerd door een moskee, kerk en synagoge maken eveneens deel uit van zijn nieuwste werk. Beiden zijn tentoongesteld in het Van Gogh Museum.
De Monoliet (2025) is zijn eerste scenografie project waarbij hij in opdracht van Sadettin K. de relatie tussen ruimte en licht onderzocht voor zijn solovoorstelling FIRST MAN.
Batman onderzocht in zijn solotentoonstelling Tussen Tompouce en Baklava (2025) in het Van Eesteren Museum een architectuurstijl geinspireerd door het Baklouceisme. Tot en met 1 november 2026 kunnen bezoekers zijn werk bewonderen in Escher in het Paleis in de groepstentoonstelling Escher & Islamic Art: 20 Perspectives.
Naast zijn artistieke praktijk is Batman Ambassadeur van Amsterdam Art, lid van de Programmaraad van ARCAM en directeur van Stichting House of All.

In 'Do You Hear Our Voices', Batman acts as a voluntary translator and documentary maker amidst the rubble. He captures how people desperately and at risk to their own lives try to rescue others from under the debris. It's a powerful testimony to the destruction and resilience of people that arises in such circumstances.
