Within the context of food design, Studio Batman recontextualises two of the most iconic delicacies from both cultures, the tompouce and the baklava, transforming them into a synthesis in which both cultures are represented and brought together on an equal footing.

Together with the Baklouce, Studio Batman introduces BAKLOUCEISM: a movement that invites people to embrace the best of both worlds.
 

‘BAKLOUCEISM is, in fact, the only word that contains all five vowels: A, E, O, U, I. What can you do with all the vowels? You can use them to create all kinds of combinations of words.

In the same way, you and I function as vowels within society, each with our own being, identity, character, and culture. Without all these different vowels, colours, and people, the word, and likewise society as a whole, falls apart.
